From Gushs’ to Citi’s, from old to new school – this years BMW vs VW had something for everyone. Since campfest we have been eagerly awaiting this day seeing that there hasn’t been much shows worth going too and as previous years have proven this would be one not too miss – the weekend came and the anticipation from the week was finally going to be relieved. After a long saturday evening we were up early on sunday morning for show day, and before we knew it we were on our way to this years venue in Magaliesburg on the outskirts of Johannesburg. 130 kilometres later we arrived to a somewhat questionable looking show ground. It seemed as if this years show memos stated that all venues required dust, dust and a little more dust. Nevertheless we decided not to complain but to just go about our day and do our thing, we walked through the gates, exchanged a few hellos and awe’s and got right into it. We were determined to bring you guys nothing but the best coverage however five minutes later we were under the tress feet up cracking open a few ice cold beers – the sun and the dust just did not want us out there haha, we weren’t complaining though. We decided to run around and catch up with some of the people we haven’t seen in a while due to never ending 9 to 5s. It was good catching up and seeing all the familiar faces, things got a bit cooler and we decided to jump back in.
This was my first year attending this event and i was not quite sure what to expect – i soon found the cars i liked most and started snapping away. The usuals came out to play but did not enter, yes i’m speaking of Mu’aaz and Joey of UberFittedKultur as they were two of this years judges. That didn’t stop me from taking as much pictures as possible though haha.
I wasn’t planning to talk a lot simply show you what the day had on show so without wasting anymore time I’ll leave you to viewing some of Jozi’s finest. I trust you all will enjoy the images, remember to share.like.comment if you liked this post.
